peeps. it has been almost 6 months since i first came to hospital hulu terengganu. yeah.. i had a hard time, very hard and things were beginning to become a little challenging.
it's so disappointing especially what had happened yesterday. we had a 78-year-old bloke came in for a road-traffic accident that allegedly led him to tension pneumothorax and moderate head injury. the worst part was we don't even own any single chest tube set in the whole hospital! (unacceptable!)
intubation was urgently performed (tube sized 7? seriously? what was i thinking!) with a very defective needle thoracocentesis attached to his second left intercostal region.
